Brescello Pizza Bar in Wurzburg

Seems is still wrong, Italian cuisine for Germans, unfortunately there are still people that think that this is the best solution to go to Italians As an Italian, I say it was awesome ... Really, this place does not have anything to do with Italy.

cool atmosphere

I had rented the cozy vaulted cellar for my birthday. It was a wonderful evening in a great atmosphere! The Brecello team conjured up delicious food and took excellent care of my guests. Everything was wonderfully organized in advance. I highly recommend both the location and the team! Many Thanks!

There is really good pizza in the cozy basement with a rather young audience: crispy bottom, good cheese. In addition, a cheap house wine and a very relaxed, nice service. We would definitely go again.

Very good pizza. Thin batter and well topped. Price was ok too. Unfortunately, there are no sensible chairs. Only stools, these are unsuitable for eating. After half an hour our legs hurt. Hence the point deduction ?

We were with the family in Brescello and I have to say there was something for everyone. My husband ate a pizza diavolo which was also spicy, I ate a salad. The salad dressing is served extra and you can use as much as you want. It was very delicious:-) Our daughter also ate a pizza and the rest was packed up. For dessert we had a Ben & Jerrys ice cream and all in all it was a nice evening, great value for money and the service was also very friendly :) Will be back soon :)

Excellent! Only individual toppings of the pizza are quite expensive if you have them topped as desired.

Price / performance ratio did not meet my expectations. My colleagues had a big pizza and it also tasted very good. Drinks are rather expensive. But as a group it was nice. However, it will not be my favorite Italian. The service was fine and the food came quickly.

The restaurant is very tastefully decorated. Modern, but still very cozy. The food was very fresh and well presented. Also tasted very good. The wine selection is rather limited. But the red wine alla casa was ok. But a little more choice would be good. The service was very nice and worked well. Unfortunately there was only Tiramisu as a choice of desserts. There were simply no other desserts on the menu. That shouldn't be. We will be happy to go again and are looking forward to it.

After a week in Italy and my search for typical Italian pizza and pasta, I have to say that the Brescello is in no way inferior to classic Italian cuisine. We have been to Brescello three times and were completely satisfied each time. As a little treat, there are free trombini and bread with olive oil, salt and pepper. My absolute favorites as main course are the Spaghetti Carbonara and the Pizza Brescello. Without exaggeration, the Carbonara is the best I've ever had. All-round Italian with a beautiful terrace, affordable prices, large portions and nice service. See you soon!
